On the 28th of May, traditional craft day – fair of Pentecost will take place in the Open-Air Museum of Lithuania. This unique event is for families, guests from overseas and for all those that want to get to know Lithuanian crafts, works and amusements. There is hardly a better place that resurrect crafts better than the Open-Air Museum of Lithuania surrounded by authentic farmsteads. Not only it will be possible have a look but also to try the crafts. The event is free of charge.

Traditional crafts and works will be demonstrated in each sector of the museum, and the food smells of culinary heritage dishes will keep everyone amused. In the town sector of the museum, one will see candle casting, amber processing, and traditional knife grinding craft. Moreover, visitors will be able to familiarise with weaving of national sashes as well as have an opportunity to make a sash for themselves. It will also be possible to explore crafts of willow wickers, sewers, weavers, carvers, and clog makers. And what about taking pictures in a vintage photo studio?
