Everyone is welcome to the SHROVETIDE FESTIVAL which is going to be held in the Open Air Museum of Lithuania, in Rumšiškės! We will dance and sing together, and, "make the Winter leave our yard". Please, bring your homemade masks and good mood with you to the museum on the 25th of February!

Welcome to the Open-Air Museum of Lithuania On December 30. It is the day when any hard work is frowned upon and the best thing to do is go visiting people and places, so hesitate no more and join us for some great fun! Witness the traditional dragging and burning of a tree stump symbolizing the vanishing of the evil piled up throughout the year. Let us leave no hardships for the upcoming year. Let’s celebrate with singing and dancing and lots of delicious food, and, if Mother Nature gifts us with any snow, we will play all kinds of winter games! The celebration starts at 12:00 PM. Do not miss it for your bad luck will follow you into the New Year...
