Training on maintenance and research on wooden heritage for owners and experts of wooden heritage at Open Air Museum of Lithuania April 25 – 27, 2016

Over thirty attendees, to include cultural heritage experts, students, owners, architects, museum staff, craftsmen, received couple of theoretical lectures. However, main focus of the training was the assessment of in situ state of wooden heritage objects and key aspects of preparing maintenance and care plans.

Event of the Project publicize on 27th September 2015

An event to publicize the project “Development of wooden built heritage conservation, research and training center in the former Aristavele manor house” (EEE - LT06 – KM – 01 – K – 01 – 100) was held on September 27, 1015. Attendees had an opportunity to learn more about the project in the information stand and during a walk through Aristavele manor house, which will soon be under construction and renovation.
