Training course in Norway on 25 th of February – 6 th of March, 2015

A training course designed for the staff of the Open Air Museum of Lithuania took place on 25 th February – 6th March, 2015, Norway. The purpose of the training was to prepare the staff for the project „Development of wooden built heritage conservation, research and training center in the former Aristavele manor house“ (EEE - LT06 – KM – 01 – K – 01 – 100).

Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, the Central Project Management Agency
and Open air museum of Lithuania based on the European Economic Area Financial
Mechanism of cultural and natural heritage conservation and revitalization program, have
signed agreement of the project “Restoration and revitalization of two farmsteads in

There were trainings for wooden heritage craftsmen in Open air museum of Lithuania

On 21st -26th September 2015 the trainings for wooden heritage craftsmen were organized in Open Air Museum of Lithuania. Trainings were organized as the activity of the running project „Restoration and revitalization of two farmsteads in ethnographic village of Salos“ (No. EEE-LT06-KM-01-K-01-099), which is supported by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism, the Republic of Lithuania and the Open Air Museum of Lithuania.
